Intro
John Nash, a handsome and eccentric mathematician, publishes his game theory as a graduate student. His 26-page paper has far-reaching effects on economics, military and other fields, and he begins to gain international fame. But Nash's brilliant march to the highest echelons of scholarship is dramatically altered when his superior intuition is beset by schizophrenia. Facing a challenge that has destroyed so many people, Nash, with the help of his beloved wife Alicia, struggles with an illness that is considered to be a disease that can only get better and cannot be cured. After more than ten years of unremitting efforts, he keeps on working and wins the Nobel Prize in 1994 by sheer force of will. In the end, his forward-looking work on game theory becomes one of the most influential theories in the 20th century, and Nash becomes a man with not only beautiful emotions, but also a beautiful heart.
