Intro
Howard Hughes is born in a wealthy family in Texas. His parents both die off on the threshold of his adulthood, leaving him a huge inheritance. He later moves to Los Angeles and becomes a famous Hollywood film producer. In addition to promoting young actresses such as Jean Harlow, he helps make films such as the air war classic Hell's Angels, and eventually acquires the ownership of Rattanhua Pictures. Hughes' legacy does not end in Hollywood. He also becomes the host of TWA and turns a loss into a profit; presides over the invention and improvement of the Blue Spruce aircraft during World War II; branches out aggressively into electronics after the war; his company makes major contributions to satellite technologies; and he enjoys a high reputation in Las Vegas casinos. Howard Hughes suffers from depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder while achieving great success in his career. His love life is full of twists and turns too, including the departures of Katharine Hepburn and Ava Gardner, which hit him hard.
