Intro
In the United States in the 1910s, golf is a highly exclusive, "tall and rich" aristocratic sport. A young man named Francis Ouimet, who comes from a working-class family with poor finances, helps support his family by working as a caddie at the course. He has a very special passion for the game of golf, and quite a talent. Because of his birth, he can only be an amateur golfer in his spare time, but he decides to change the rules of the game. His talent, combined with hard work and trials, finally change the golf history in 1913. 20-year-old Francis, and his 10-year-old caddie, Eddie Lowery, amble onto the field to challenge Harry Vardon, the world champion golfer from Britain. The audience is amazed. The result is a supermatch of genius and champion that shakes the world of golf. This is the true story of courage, passion, and fulfillment of a young man with natural talent and hard work who has since changed the golf history.
