Intro
It is a snowy day in 1973, 14-year-old Susie is lured by a neighbor to a secret cabin in a cornfield and killed on her way home from school. She has to come to terms with the fact that she has been dead, and can only watches her family and close friends grieve and the cold murderer go unpunished like a ghost. The father who loves his daughter so much is addicted to hatred all day long and neglects his wife; her over-grieved mother abandons her children and runs away alone; the vengeful sister sneaks into the murder's house at the risk of her parents losing their daughter again - all this is not what Susie wants. Later, Susie's family realizes that although they have lost their loved one, each of them understand the weight of love. Since then, her parents make it up, her sister gets happy, the boy she fancies starts a new life, and everyone gets better. When Susie understands that, she also chooses to let go and leave, and goes to her own perfect world.
