Intro
In South Korea's economic depression in 1999, Min Ki, a bank clerk, is laid off from his job unemployed at home, spends his days reading novels in bookstores. His wife Bora, a principal of an English kindergarten, is full of disgust at her decadent husband at home. Just at this time, Bora happens to see her old lover, two people quickly renew their old love, and get along well. Bora doesn't want to give up her family because of their amour, and is unspeakably painful during the two relationships. The husband discovers the extramarital affair of his wife accidentally, endures the torment in his heart but finally cannot let go, and he finds that maybe only the death can let him free.
