[ Cause ]

Often after running out of disk space or a similar unexpected event, some of the database tables may have become corrupt. This often occurs after you experience out of disk space problems on the disk partition where your database resides. In the above example the EXTRNLNKS table became corrupt and needs to be repaired.

[ Simple Method ]

1.select the error table (show “in use”)

2.click and select the “Repair table” drop menu at the bottom

3. that is all

This issue often happens after the fixing of shared hosting overloading evet!

[ Detailed Resolution ]

The corrupted tables need to be repaired. Please see:

MySQL documentation on How to Repair MyISAM Tables (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/ ... epair.html) and REPAIR TABLE Syntax (http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/ ... table.html).

The MySQL forums contain a post on how to repair a database table, MySQL table is marked as crashed and should be repaired (https://my.alwayswebhosting.com/support ... ticleid=13).

There is also a third-party but comprehensive article on how to repair mysql database corruption at http://www.databasejournal.com/features ... hp/3300511].
