Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, known in Japan as Akumajō Dracula X: Chi no Rondo (悪魔城ドラキュラX 血の輪廻, officially translated Devil's Castle Dracula X: Rondo of Blood) is a platform video game developed by Konami for the PC Engine.

The tenth installment of the Castlevania video game series and a 2D side-scroller, it acts as a middleground between the earlier, typically linear Castlevania games and the later open-exploration ones; Rondo of Blood makes use of untimed stages with a clear beginning, but occasionally more than one ending.

The game is notable for being the first Castlevania game to utilize a save feature. Due to the enhanced capabilities of the PC Engine CD-ROM with the Super System Card which greatly expanded the PC Engine's memory, anime cutscenes and voice acting were added to the game, another first for the series. It was released in Japan on October 29, 1993. A direct sequel to it, the critically acclaimed Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, was released in 1997.

// More //

Dracula X: Rondo of Blood is one of the most classic games in the Castlevania franchise and its quite a rarity. It was released by Konami for the PC Engine CD aka Turbo Grafx 16 CD in the early 90′s and sadly this incredible game never made it to the states and sat on the shores of Japan.

Thanks to nerds and the internet Dracula X has come around in many incarnations, via Nintendo Wii VC and PSP. There were other ways to play this via emulators but often times they can be tricky, uncompatible, and really annoying.

// How to play //

TheCrypt is serving you a straight up Windows version of Dracula X: Rondo of Blood, download the file below, extract the zip file, open that file and you’ll see the .exe to run the game you can copy a shortcut to your desktop to make this easier to get to.

Once Rondo is running it’ll ask you to configure the game this is really straight forward and self explanitory really.

If you want to use a D-Pad just hit f1 to set the controls to your liking Viola you’ll be playing this classic faster than Dracula can suck blood.

BTW, you cant skip the intro/cut scenes, so please be patient.
